Serious Sam: Next Encounter

In this edition of the Serious Sam series, Sam faces out against a new arch-nemesis called “Mini Sam,” an evil clone of the hero Sam “Serious” Stone. Mini Sam has stolen control of the timelock and is traveling through time, destroying ancient civilizations – it is up to Serious Sam to stop him. The game takes the player through over 40 levels set in three historical settings: Ancient Rome, Feudal China, and Legendary Atlantis. The PS2 version s online multiplayer for up to 8 players via the broadband adapter and two players on one PS2, while the GameCube version s four players on one GameCube. Deathmatch, Hold the Flag, and the Bomb are all competitive multiplayer modes. The single-player campaign may be played cooperatively, allowing two players to work together to defeat Mental and Mini-Sam’s troops.
